El Salvador is the World Barista Champion!

A lejandro Mendez is the new WORLD BARISTA CHAMPION!! El salvador!!!!

Alejandro rocked it so sweetly! We are so proud of our new country of El Salvador! and the USA got 2nd place and a friend as well Pete Licata! Double happiness! 2011 is the year of El Salvador! Alejandro works at Viva Espresso in San Salvador and is a friend of ours too!

This is the first time a Barista from a country of origin has won! Raul Rodas won 2nd place last year from Guatemala. Next year we predict two baristas in the final six from coffee countries.
